The Depot:

Visitors can observe the candy-making technique: The candy is cooked to a 300-degree boil, poured out of the “old brass kettle” onto cold stone, then pulled on a candy hook before it is finally hand-rolled out and pulled through wooden twisters. Ribbons and bows, buttons, twist sticks and candy canes will be made from scratch in five different flavors.
This Saturday at 10 a.m., the family will begin boiling their first batch of treats, which only takes about an hour to prepare. After that, a batch will be made every half hour until 3 p.m.
