Duluth has a massive and eclectic local music scene. Duluth has produced members of hit bands like The Rembrandts and R.E.M. We’re home to musicians like Bob Dylan and Low, Charlie Parr and Trampled By Turtles, The Crinn and The Crunchy Bunch.
But Duluth also offers a great variety of live music venues and outdoor musical festivals.
As winter turns to spring we’ll be right on the tails of the 16th Annual Homegrown Music Festival and Duluth Dylan Festival, as well as great performances by the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra.
Summer brings music season with more great festivals including Duluth Fourth Fest, the 9th Annual Bayfront Reggae and World Music Festival, and perhaps Duluth’s most popular, the 26th Annual Bayfront Blues Festival.
Duluth is home to many local mainstays that host live performances no matter the season, and in many cases feature new bands and shows each week.
